Award-winning Philadelphia native Christine Havrilla brings her “well-built, catchy, smart tunes” (Upstage Magazine) to audiences everywhere, touring nationally solo and also with the support of her band, Gypsy Fuzz. Christine utilizes the soft gritty texture of her vocals to express warmth and honesty listeners quickly embrace as well as her aggressive, raw, trash-style guitar playing and looping. Listeners will hear the new album as well as fan favorites at this special Album Release + Birthday Show taking place at The Locks, a listening room created by the folks behind Tin Angel & The Point showcasing the finest national and regional acts.
Sunless Escapade was recorded at Studio 1311 in Chester Heights, PA with Gregory Brady and the full band. “Sunless Escapade”, the title track, asks, “what is the lie you keep choking on…” Other tracks include “See Things Your Way”, “Said it Once”, Let in Love”, “Hail”, “Sittin’ at the Table”, “Four Leaf Clover”, and a cover of T Bone Burnett’s song, “River of Love”.
